Dear VisitorThe weather is turning, everyone seems to be itching and irritated to go on holiday and relax on our beautiful South African beaches. As South Africans we are so fortunate to have some of the most amazing beaches in the world just on our doorstep. This month we are taking the initiative to keep it that way by promoting sustainable development and recycling in our community. Saldanha Beach Clean Up
Blue Bay Lodge and Lwemostade Youth Foundation in conjunction with the Saldanha Bay Tourism Organisation would like to invite you and your friends and family to join us on our Beach Clean-up day on Saturday 5 November 2011.
We are so proud to live in Saldanha and have such an amazing beachfront and harbour. As the harbour and the beach plays such a pivotal role in the economy of Saldanha Bay and especially in tourism, it is to all of our best advantage to keep it clean and to teach the future generations about the importance of recycling and proper waist disposal. We are inviting anyone and everyone who has a passion for the environment and who feels that they somehow benefit from the ocean and beach on a daily basis to join us. The event will take place on the Saldanha beachfront moving from Blue Bay Lodge at 8am. There will be boerewors rolls and cool drinks for sale in front of Blue Bay Lodge for those who need to do a quick refill or for those who would just like to come and show their support and bring a blanket and have a picnic on the grass in front of the lodge. So bring your kids and grandparents, bring a good vibe and some sunblock and even if you just walk with us for moral support and show us a piece of paper that we might have missed, your support would mean the world to us! For more information, contact Mart-Mari on 022 714 1177 or just send an email to mart-mari@blouwaterbaai.com Restaurant TeambuildingWe had an amazing team building event on the Tranquility Blue Yacht in Saldanha Bay and comes highly recommended by all of us.
